World Food Festival Update

Are you ready to embark on a culinary journey across the globe? Get ready to experience ten new kitchens across three biomes! The Free World Food Festival Update brings two new recipes to AYCE in Curry and Bobotie, expanding the recipes across the Onion Kingdom.

Avoid the busy roads, fend off the hungry rats and experience two new gameplay mechanics!

Be ready to dice and slice – as you’ll also have to cater via a delivery bag! Occasionally, you may find that a serving point is blocked by a delivery bag. Place the raw ingredient that is requested, and a delivery person will arrive to pick it up! That’ll free up some space for some very important meal prep!

Plate your food up in a new way, with the box mechanic! Plating was so last year! Create boxes at the station, create your meals and voilà- they are ready for service!

And do all of this, with three new friends! Introducing the Globe Chef, the Fox Chef and an alternate Goldfish Skin!

A blizzard has thrown a new winter Chef into the Overcooked All You Can Eat kitchens! The Blue Penguin, Macaroni Penguin & Arctic Fox are our latest new friends to enter Overcooked!

Outside of the new updates, Overcooked! All You Can Eat serves up tons of mouth-watering content to play solo or with up to four friends!

Cross platform multiplayer

Levels from the Overcooked! 1 Campaign are playable for with cross-platform online multiplayer support for the very first time! Enjoy the first Overcooked! maps with friends from far and wide, all in stunning 4K resolution available at 60 frames per second!

Remasters of previous Overcooked Campaigns

Not only does Overcooked! All You Can Eat have exclusive content, it includes every piece of the Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 Campaigns, including all the previous Overcooked DLCs! Find all this content in the Extra Trimmings menu of All You Can Eat and play this content cross-platform for the very first time!

All additional content has been remastered in 4K and runs at 60FPS on next-gen consoles!

Accessibility

A tasty update brought new and improved accessibility options to assist players in various ways. This feature is unique to All You Can Eat, with an option to fit your every need!

Locate these settings in two places: Firstly, the Settings Menu under the Accessibility Tab. Secondly, in the Assist Mode Menu!

Accessibility Options

  • Option to Edit Text Size between three pre-sets- Small, Medium or Large Text
  • Option to enable Dyslexia Friendly Font
  • Option to Reduce Camera Shake
  • Option to Reduce Flashing

Assist Mode Menu:

  • Allow Level Skipping
  • Slider to increase Order Timers
  • Slider to increase Level Timers
  • Option to Increase Recipe Score
  • Option to Turn Off Order Timers
  • Option to Shorten Respawn Timer from 5 Seconds to 3 Seconds
  • Option to make it harder to burn food
  • Option to Turn Off Burnt Food Fires
  • Option to Reduce Amount of Recipes

Once you have activated assist mode, the ‘Assist Mode’ box and text will appear on your world map!

Will my save carry over from Overcooked 1 or Overcooked 2?

No. Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a new game, your save files from the original two games will not carry over.

Will my save transfer across platforms?

No. Saves are locked to the platform you play on.

How many players does the game support?

Up to four players across all platforms!

Play alone, or with up to three friends both offline and online.

Can I team up with random players, or do I need to add people to my friends list?

If you’re playing Arcade, you’ll be able to play with anyone via matchmaking or privately with your friends. You can also take multiple local players online and play with anyone. If you want to play through the campaign, you’ll need to invite friends to play with you.

Can I play with my friend who has Overcooked 2?

No, all players must own Overcooked! All You Can Eat to play together.

Does this mean I can now throw in the original Overcooked levels?

There’s no throwing in the original Overcooked levels. We wanted to keep the original feeling of Overcooked but give it a zesty graphical upgrade!

Is there a fourth star score on the original Overcooked levels?

Yes, once you complete the main game you will unlock New Game+.

Are there different game modes like in the previous games?

Yes, you will be able to take on campaign, survival and practice modes as well as a brand new Assist Mode.

Assist mode includes adjustments that make for a less frantic game, including slower recipe timeout and increased round timers.

You can also toggle order expiration off in the settings for this mode.

How many chefs are there to choose from?

Have you ever heard of the phrase “Too Many Chefs in the Kitchen”? No? neither have we!

We have 60 chefs working in the Overcooked Kitchens with 130+ skins available between all the characters, so you can switch their looks!

Can I download the Swedish Chef?

No, the Swedish Chef was a limited time downloadable Chef available in December 2020. There are no plans for the Swedish Chef to return.

Will Twitch Drops return for Overcooked! All You Can Eat?

There are no plans for Twitch Drops to return for All You Can Eat. If you successfully claimed the drops in April 2021, you should be able to follow the steps to redeem them. Find our more here.

How many levels are there in total?

Being ‘All You Can Eat’ we have more levels than a buffet table has meals! Over 200+ Campaign levels can be found throughout the Extra Trimmings Menu and the remasters of the two Overcooked! Campaigns. There are 17 levels to be found in the Versus game mode!

Will you be patching online multiplayer to the original Overcooked?

There are no plans to add online multiplayer to the original game.

Does Overcooked! All You Can Eat support in-game chat?

Yes, Overcooked! All You Can Eat does support in-game voice chat!

You will need to enable this in the game settings. Once switched on, you will automatically be able to talk to other players over voice chat when in game. You can adjust the microphone audio in the settings menu.

On Switch, you will need to have a headset plugged into the console’s audio jack.

Can I mute other players?

Yes, you can.

How can I access the Overcooked AYCE Upgrade Scheme?

The Overcooked AYCE Upgrade Scheme was a limited time deal which allowed digital owners of Overcooked! 2 to upgrade to Overcooked! All You Can Eat for a 75% discount. You can see more information regarding the scheme and it’s current state here.

Can I use DualShock 4 controllers to play on PS5?

No, in the PS5 version of Overcooked! All You Can Eat all active players must be using a PS5 DualSense controller to play.

If I own this on PS5, can I play it on PS4 too?

Yes, if your game is a digital download.

If you have a physical PS5 disc, this will unfortunately not work in a PS4 console.

If I own this on Xbox Series X can I play it on Xbox One?

Yes, if you own the game digitally. The Xbox Series X disc will not work on Xbox One.

Will the Xbox versions support Smart Delivery?

Yes.

Is cross-play in the game?

Yes, players on all platforms can play together.

Are story levels playable in cross-play?

ALL levels are playable cross-platform.

Can I turn cross-platform play off?

How does cross-gen play work?

If you have cross-play enabled, then any of the platforms can match with one another. This also extends to Public Matchmaking in Co-Op and Versus game modes too.

Does the Steam version support ultra–wide resolution?

No, it does not support this.

Is there a fourth star score on the original Overcooked levels?

Yes, once you complete the main game you will unlock New Game+ for the main game, The Lost Morsel and Festive Seasoning levels.

Can I change my Team17 name?

Yes! In the Team17 friends tab click the ‘Aa’ button to change your name (note: you cannot change the #numbers ID part)
