1. The Promoter
1.1 The promoter is: Team 17 Digital Limited of 3 Red Hall Avenue, Paragon Business Park, Wakefield, England, WF1 2UL.
2. The contest
2.1 The title of the contest is Goblin Cleanup Art Contest with Epic Desk.
2.2 Create one piece of Goblin Cleanup fan art to be in with a chance to have it printed onto an official Goblin Cleanup Desk Mat which will be printed and sold to the public by Epic Desk for an 8 week period. You may also include TheSnowyRaven and Kaboodle in your artwork; this is optional.
3. How to enter
3.1 The contest will run from 00:00 UTC on 1 July 2026 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 UTC on 31 July 2026 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.2 All contest entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 23:59 UTC on the Closing Date. All contest entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 To enter the contest, submit your artwork via the contest webpage here: www.team17.com/goblin-cleanup-art-contest, before the Closing Date.
3.4 No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to enter this contest.
3.5 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for contest entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the contest.
3.6 By submitting a contest entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.7 The contest entries will be judged by a panel of three judges, being Lucas Rollano at Crisalu Games, Tom Birdsey at Team17, and Bonnie Adams at Guillotine. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The contest is only open to individuals aged 18 years. The following individuals are not permitted to enter the contest:
(a) those individuals who reside in Northern Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Brazil and Quebec (Canada);
(b) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(c) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the contest or its administration; or
(d) members of the immediate families or households of (b) and (c) above.
4.2 In entering the contest, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to receive the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the contest.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept contest entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) photocopies and not originals; or
(e) incomplete.
4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize contest.
5. Prizes
5.1 The prizes are both:
(a) the creation of the winning contest entry as a desk mat, which will be offered for sale by Epic Desk to the public for a period of 8 weeks; and
(b) a royalty equal to 10% of Gross Revenue (to be defined) derived from sales of that desk mat during such 8 week period.
5.2 Five runners-up will have their entries posted across our Goblin Clean Up social media accounts and be tagged in social media posts featuring their entries, for extra visibility to their art accounts.
5.3 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5.4 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
5.5 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6. Winners
6.1 The decision of the judges nominated by the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 The Promoter will contact the winner and the five runners-up personally as soon as practicable after the Closing Date, using the email address provided with the contest entry.
6.3 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the Artist Pseudonym/Artist Alias, Country of Residence, and the Social Media Handles of the prize winner and the five runners-up and, if applicable, their winning entries via the Goblin Cleanup Social Media channels (Twitter/X, Discord, etc.) and Goblin Cleanup Steam Store Page in a Steam News Post on 01 September 2026 (“Announcement Date”).
6.4 If you object to any or all of your Artist Pseudonym/Artist Ailias, Country of Residence, Social Media Handles and/or your winning/runners-up entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter via goblincleanup@gmail.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Ownership of contest entries and intellectual property rights
8.1 The Promoter grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and exploit the intellectual property rights: (i) in the Goblin Clean Up game and (ii) in the SnowyRaven and Kaboodle name, likeness, image, trademark, autograph, voice, signature, photograph and words, in both cases solely in connection with the creation of your contest entry.
8.2 You grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence in perpetuity, for the full period of the intellectual property rights in the contest entry, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the intellectual property rights belonging to you in the contest entry for all purposes.
8.3 You agree that the Promoter may, in their sole discretion, make your entry available on its website team17.com and in any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the contest.
8.4 You agree that you will obtain the Promoter’s prior written approval before commercially exploiting your contest in any way. For example, by offering your contest entry for sale as fan art.
9. Data protection and publicity
9.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in Promoters privacy policy located here: https://www.team17.com/privacy-policy. See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
10. General
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the contest.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize contest where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
