Patch 1.1.1  - Out Now for Nice day for fishing on PS5

Adventurers! We've just released Patch 1.1.1 on PlayStation 5 for Nice Day for Fishing.

This patch brings all changes from Patches 1.0.4, 1.1.0 & 1.1.1, meaning you'll be playing Nice Day for Fishing on PlayStation with full parity with Steam 🤝
 
The team are currently working on Switch patches too, which we'll have more news to share soon! ❤️

PlayStation Patch 1.1.1 - Patch Notes

Additions:

Additions

  • Added four Teleport Portals:

    • Two in the Town of Honeywood.

    • One at the Beach of Azerim.

    • One at the Undead Mines.

  • Added new inventory tabs and order.

  • Added the option to view baits in your inventory.

  • Added new sounds for when collecting and equipping some Legendary DLC items.

  • Added an option to reduce the flash screen effect in the game's settings.

  • Addition of an unlock queue for when players learn multiple spells from Thidon at once.

  • Addition during the first Thidon quest, which allows players to automatically learn the first Thidon spell.

Changes & Improvements:

  • Changes to the levelling up system, which players now shown their multiple levels ups when getting more exp than needed.

  • Changes to the inventory slider when player has more than 25 items.

  • Improvements to the stacking of status effects.

  • Improvements to performance when collecting items.

  • Improvements and adjustments to the Icon for the shift button.

  • Changes to tutorials to disable tutorial screens whilst in dialogue.

  • Changes to the fish luring function, to make this fishing feature optimized.

  • Changed the calculation of the Protecting spell, to make this spell optimized.

  • Changed the inner colour of the chest of the abandoned souls.

  • Improvements to the quest markers for the axe head quest.


Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with the currents at the anchovy fish cave.

  • Fixed a save issue during the dark water scene.

  • Fixed issues around saving whilst in cutscenes.

  • Fixed an issue where Bodger's Hammer would occasionally be missing when saving at the Hammer X quest.

  • Fixed an issue with the spawn position for the Wolf Fish to prevent it hanging on corners.

  • Fixed an issue around interaction speech indicators, which would occasionally remain incorrectly active.

  • Fixed an issue where Baradun would occasionally be missing on a broken quest line when saving and quitting after getting the Holy Garlic.

  • Fixed an issue with the Orcish Knife, where this Knife would be missing after saving and loading the game during its quest.

  • Fixed issues with stacking negative effects on the player, which is now offset.
  • Fixed an issue with the continue game button in the menu, which was greyed out for some players after their first saved game.

  • Fixed an issue where players would not lose fights if the player had exactly 0 HP.

  • Fixed an issue with missing icons for quests with Baradun after rescuing Willow.

  • Fixed an issue where the second Boss would occasionally drift away during battle.

  • Fixed an issue with entering Baelin's boat in reverse / backwards.

  • Fixed an issue with button focus during the reward screen, whilst simultaneously tabbing out of the game.

  • Fixed an issue with tool tips for losing general spell damage whilst comparing items.

  • Fixed an issue where NPCs would occasionally flicker when following you during quests.

  • Fixed an issue where the decorations in the Slime region would occasionally flicker.

  • Fixed an issue with the water sounds at both the Spider Cave and at the Well.

  • Fixed issues with the Lavacore Catfish, which now displays its correct weight.

  • Fixed an issue with player stats not showing at Thidon's collection.

  • Fixed an issue where there would be empty status effects at the beginning of some fishing battles.

  • Fixed an issue with the cooldown of spells, where the cooldown would occasionally show at incorrect times.

  • Fixed an issue where occasionally fish with some buffs would deal zero damage to the player.

  • Fixed an issue where occasionally fish would spawn in red after battles.

  • Fixed an issue with character voice lines, with specific lines now rendered in the background.

  • Fixed an issue where two Baraduns would appear at Rondor's quest.

  • Fixed an issue where the wrong quest NPC name would occasionally appear when finishing quests.

  • Fixed issues where the indicators for interactions would be missing after some dialogue lines.

  • Fixed an issue when trading with over 999 items, to avoid wasting items.

  • Fixed some typos across the game.

  • Fixed minor problems with the hook and fishing tutorials.

  • Fixed an issue with the scroll focus offset during shops when playing on low resolutions.

  • Fixed an issue where upgrading buildings would cost no materials when both saving or quitting the game.

  • Fixed an issue with the fishing rod when jumping, creating a rod animation offset.

  • Fixed issues with sprinting after collecting items.

  • Fixed issues with the sound volume of splash screens.

  • Fixed an issue where the potions were not removed during the Mayor's Potion Party quest.

  • Optimized the performance when collecting items on weaker hardware.

  • Fixed an issue with the font flickering in Chinese after changing the language.
