Hey everyone,

Today we’re pleased to be sharing with you an early look at some tweaks, changes and bug fixes coming to the console version of Hell Let Loose when it launches on October 5th!

The majority of these will be coming in a Day 1 patch for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, with a few extra bits coming in a priority post-launch patch.

Before we go into the Day 1 patch notes themselves, we just wanted to give special attention to something many of you have been feeding back on – aiming and deadzones…

Aiming and Deadzones – What’s in the Day 1 Patch

  • Improvements to deadzone when aiming down sights (ADS) to feel more circular, allow greater precision and register finer input.
  • Added the option in the settings to change controller cursor sensitivity on the Map.
  • Added a slider for adjusting the deadzone sensitivity.
  • Fixed a bug where the player’s look sensitivity would decrease after opening the game menu for the first time after loading into a map.
  • Adjustments to fix the sensitivity for tank spotters in zoom level 2 or 3 feeling too high.
  • Adjustments for sensitivity when using a scope or binoculars.
  • Fixed a bug where bullets would hit in front of the player instead of where the gun is aiming when firing rifles or pistols whilst sprinting.
  • Fixed a bug where aim assist would not trigger when aiming at enemies in exposed vehicle seats.
  • Tweaked aim assist to not trigger on lowest sensitivity settings.
  • Fixed a bug where aim assist would not trigger on enemies in a prone position.
  • Changed button to equip bandages to a longer hold press to prevent reloading and swapping to bandages at the same time.
  • Fixed a bug where the equipment radial menu could be used to equipment unavailable gear items from loadout.
  • Fixed a bug where changing to the Layout B controller layout would break certain functionality.

That’s not all though, in a follow-up post launch priority patch we’ll be adding in the ability to separately adjust your X/Y axis so that players can really finetune their aiming to what suits them.

All of the above in regard to aiming has been made possible thanks to your beta feedback, so thank you!

We look forward to seeing how these changes feel on the frontline and will be watching closely for your thoughts and feedback, so feel free to share them with us.
Now, onto the rest of the Day 1 patch notes…
